I am trying to be super organised this year. I am not the biggest fan of Christmas for various reasons to be honest - bah humbug I know - but I am a fan of making life easier for you, me, everybody infact.
If you have a dog lover to buy for in the family or someone whose dog is their whole world or if you are the kind of family who like to buy Christmas presents for the dog I can help with these 5 suggestions ranging from bargain stocking fillers for dog owners to luxury gifts for the dog and everything in between.
First up is the lovely Sarah from Ten And Six. I met Sarah at a Christmas Market we both exhibited at last year, we were stand neighbours and had a lovely day chatting and generally enjoying ourselves. Sarah makes some beautiful items including these gorgeous bandanas which come in 3 sizes and look wonderful on any dog.
Priced from just £8 you can find the whole range and more here . Even the dog can look smart at Christmas!
Next up, a taste of true luxury for the hound in your life. Dee, from Slumbering Hound is one of a lovely group of talented ladies I know, who all own amazing dog businesses. Dee is one of the sewers in the group and she makes a range of stunning products but she is famous for her snuggle sacks.
The ultimate cosy winter gift for those dogs who like to feel cosseted and safe. Snuggle Sacks start at £45 and you can see the entire range here.
My 3rd suggestion is from my own range and are my gift sets aptly named Classic Canine Spa Kit and Curly Coat Care Kit. Smellies are a pretty popular choice for Christmas gifts and I figure the same can be said of smellies for dogs.
The Classic Canine Spa Kit is perfect for all dogs and consists of shampoo, scrunchy, soap, nose/paw balm and soothing salve.
The Curly Coat Care Kit is a lifesaver for cockerpoos, doodles, poodles/poo crosses, bichons and bichon crosses and anything else that fits into that category. It consists of shampoo, my infamous Tame Those Tangles detangler, a scrunchy and nose/paw balm. Both sets are presented in a lovely gift box and they retail at £20.99 each. You can find out more here
Number four is a fabulous little book which really makes me wish a/ I was a knitter and b/ I had dogs that would wear jumpers.
Sadly neither are applicable but I just love the look of this little book 'Dogs in Jumpers'
Debbie Humphreys, author of the book and founder of Redhound For Dogs is another of the lovely ladies I have met through our dog businesses.
Dogs in Jumpers contains 12 knitting projects for you to make your own canine jumpers and at £9.99 would make an amazing gift for the crafty, dog owner in your life. You can order it online here
Last but not least I have the perfect stocking fillers for dog owners, at just £3.50 for a 15g tin or £8.50 for a 60g tin, my Nose, skin and paw balm or Soothing Salve - or both make lovely little practical additions to this years stocking.
Created from all natural ingredients, the nose and paw balm is a winter essential to protect against dry noses, cracked paws, elbow calluses and more.
The Soothing Salve is made from 5 skin loving herbs infused in oil and is a must have little tin of magic. It can be used on anything from cuts and scratches to bites, stings, grazes - anywhere that needs a little tlc.
