Heading to Crufts? It Might Be Time to Add Another Product to Your Brand.
Crufts is one of those big opportunities that just doesn’t come around very often. If you’ve got a stand, or you’re trading there in any capacity, you’re going to be in front of more potential customers than you’ll reach in weeks or maybe even months on social media. It’s a great chance to get visible, stand out, and showcase your products.
There are lots of businesses out there for whom it would make sense to add additional products to your core focus.
For example, herbal balms for itchy skin would sit perfectly along side natural handmade dog treats. A company that is pug focussed would be a great fit for a wrinkle cleaning product. If you’ve been thinking about launching your own branded range of balms and salves but have no idea where to start, this is where I come in.
I know a lot of smaller dog brands think they’re not 'big enough' to white label products, or that it’s only something for established businesses with warehouses and staff. It’s not. In fact, small businesses are exactly who I do this for and I focus on making it easy and accessible for small and micro businesses (although larger orders are no problem too!)
Everything I offer is
- Handmade here in the UK
- Made to the same standard as human skincare
- Often made to order, so products are fresh with a long shelf life
- Designed to be simple and straightforward to white label
- Label compliance and paperwork such as Safety Data Sheets is done for you.
You don’t need to buy huge quantities, and I’ll help you with what needs to go on the label too.
Here’s a quick run through of what I offer at the moment, and the sorts of businesses each one may suit.
Nose & Paw Balm
A gentle balm to keep paws soft and noses in good condition.
- Great for dog groomers who want a thoughtful aftercare product
- Lovely as a client gift or easy seller for pet shops
Herbal Salve
Calms bites, stings and itchy patches really handy for outdoorsy dogs.
- Ideal for natural or raw food dog brands wanting to extend their range
- A great match for dog adventure and outdoor gear businesses
Rosehip & Calendula Salve
A gentle product for sore and sensitive skin.
- Perfect for holistic brands that focus on overall dog care.
- Also ideal for canine businesses that help with allergies, skin conditions etc and are looking for a product that will be a useful addition to suggest for daily care.
Wrinkle Balm
For cleaning and caring for skin folds especially in wrinkly breeds.
- Popular with breed specific businesses such as pugs or bulldogs or charities who want a branded product at Crufts
- A great add on for show breeders and handlers wanting something useful and practical for their buyers. Puppy friendly.
And just to say, it doesn’t have to be something you’re selling. If you offer high end products like made to measure dog beds, luxury accessories or even run a dog friendly holiday cottage, something like a small branded tin can work really nicely as a welcome gift. It’s a much more useful and thoughtful touch than a leaflet or plastic freebie, and it keeps your branding in front of them long after they’ve left.
Crufts is in March, so if you want time to get labels done, have a think about your display, or just feel ready and prepared, it’s worth getting things moving now. I work with small batch orders, I keep it simple, and I’ll help you work through what’s needed. There’s still time, but not a lot.
If you want to talk it through, just get in touch. You don’t need to have everything figured out already. If you’ve got the idea, I’ll help with the rest. At the time of writing this blog (2nd February 2026) it is just over a month until Crufts so not too late to make this happen for you. Generally, most first time orders are shipped within 10 days as long as the initial label design is agreed promptly. If you can do your bit, then we can do ours!!
