FAQ
- Is there a MOQ? Yes the minimum order is 100 small 15g or 50 larger 60g balms or salves.
- What is the RRP of the balms and salves? The 15g size has a starting RRP of £3.75 and the 60g starts at £8.95. The products, packaging and labels supplied are all very high quality, can (and do) support a higher price bracket. Your own brand, client base and marketing will determine your final price and rest assured that as I sell on a Business to Business basis only it will not be possible to obtain the same product from me at a cheaper price.
- Can I have unperfumed products? Yes, all products can be supplied unperfumed as they are made to order. Depending on your order size I may also be able to use an alternative ingredient. For example hemp oil instead of rosehip if this suits your brand ethos better or use different size tins however this will incur additional design fees for your labels for the first order. Please email to discuss your requirements.
- Are the products suitable for puppies? Fragranced varieties are unsuitable for puppies under 14 weeks.
- Can I rename the products for my own labels? Yes product names can be chosen by you (I love unique branding and marketing) but it is recommended that you do your own due diligence around the availability of the product name. Ie I will not do any research to check it is not trademarked by another company and The Dog and I takes no responsibility for products names that are chosen by you or the copy that you use for your marketing.Be aware that in the UK we are not able to make medical claims in the absence of clinical trials so you could not use a name like Healing Balm. Whilst I have given you some inspiration in terms of products names and benefits in the caralogue I do not supply website copy. It is important to write your own unique product descriptions to prevent duplication with other businesses and keep Google happy!
- Can I have the products unlabelled and do my own? Yes - all products can be unlabelled and the price to you will be reflected in this. You will be supplied with the ingredients, batch number and wording that must appear on the product to comply with CLP requirements.
- Is the packaging sustainable? All products are supplied in aluminium tins. Aluminium can be recycled forever. They do however, have an EPE liner to protect against leakage. Your labels will be printed on paper in most cases and you can read more about my printers eco credentials here. If however, your logo is of a low resolution it may be necessary to print on vinyl to achieve the best quality imagery. This does not happen often and in that scenario, I will make you aware. All ingredients used are of a cosmetic or food grade and sourced from reputable UK suppliers well known within the indust
